Good morning. Are you enjoying our little thaw? The snow has SLOWLY been melting, but I do think we will see it melting a little more rapidly over the weekend. In case you're keeping score, last year January 1-15th, we had measured 18.0" of snow. So far this month, 7.5" of snow has fallen (at O'Hare). Normally, during the month of January we record 11.3" of snow. And while, I don't see any major snowstorms in the seven-day forecast period, don't worry you snow lovers, there is plenty of winter still left.
