It will be a chilly start to our holiday weekend. As some count Labor Day weekend as the end to summer, it will feel like an end to summer with highs only in the 60s for your Saturday. What feels like a refreshing blast of cool air compared to last weekend's highs in the 90s, our temps will moderate by Labor Day Monday back into the 80s. It will be a breezy day today with W/NW winds gusting to 25 mph at times. As the evening comes, winds will slacken off and start coming from the SW. Sunday's highs will surge back into the 70s thanks to high pressure and those SW winds. By your Labor Day Monday, breezy conditions will return and highs will be back into the 80s. The 7-day forecast includes a high of 80 on Tuesday, upper 70s for Wednesday and Thursday, and 84 on Friday. So far, the best chances of rain will be on Thursday and Friday. Enjoy your long weekend and your backyard BBQs! MARK BISHOP
